Public Intervention in the heart of DTLA.

The 4th & Main Thoroughfare in Downtown Los Angeles is a design intervention for the Medallion Lofts, offering visitors access to retail shops, residential units and the courtyard plaza. Transforming the space meant opening it up for street access, brighting up the space to glow from the inside, making it both welcoming and visible to guide users.

The design is an industrial passage where street life, retail and resident experiences converge.
